Basic steps to get started for making money by uploading videos on youtube.
Step 1 – Account Creation – Create a Google/gmail account first , if you already have a google / gmail account , then no need to create a new . Now open YouTube .com & login to youtube with your google account username & password.

Step 3 – Enable Monetization – After publishing your videos , go to video manager & enable monetization for all your videos. Once monetization is enabled , advertisement will start showing on your videos , but at this time you will not be able to view that how much you had earned from ads on youtube , but don’t worry google willpay you for your these earnings as a bonus at the time of your first payment. You will be able to track your earnings only after associating a google adsense account with your youtube channel . but associating for google adsense account you need to wait till your channel gets at least 1000 to 2000 views .
Step 4 – Associating Google adsense with youtube channel – Once your channel view increases 1000 , then associate a google adsense account with your youtube channel . to link your youtube channel with adsense account , you need to log in to your youtube account , now go to – “MY CHANNEL” , now click on “MONETRIZATION” tab under channel settings . Now under guidelines & information section you will find – HOW WILL I BE PAID , once you click the link , you will find a hyper link text –“ associate an adsense account” once you click here . you will be redirected to link adsense account , I here suppose that you don’t have an adsense account , click on next , you will be asked that whether you you will use your current google account ( email id ) for adsense as well or you wish to create a different id. Choose – YES PROCEED TO GOOGLE ACCOUNT SIGN IN .you will be prompted to enter your gmail password. Once you enter the adsense account , you will be asked to fill the several mandatory information . once you are done with those formalities you will be redirected back to your youtube channel.
Step 5 – Approval confirmation of your adsense account – Within 48 hours you will get an email from the adsense team regarding your confirmation message . if they had approved your account thene , you can start watching your youtube earnings in your adsense account by log in to your adsense account . go to performance report > products >hosted adsense for content . here you need to select the date range for which you wish to view your earnings & you can watch your youtube earnings.
Step 6 – Payment procedure of your YouTube earnings – Once your earnings increases 10 USD , then adsense team will send you a letter containing PIN to your address which is mentioned in your adsense account . you will receive it within 15 days , because it is sent be normal post , once you get that letter open the letter & you will find a confidential PIN , mentioned inside the letter . which you need to key in to your adsense account , under verify PIN tab. Once this is done hold will be removed from your adsense account. But suppose , if you donot get your pin within 30 days you can reques for new PIN , from your adsense account , you can request for pin a maximum of 3 times only . There after if you still don’t get the PIN , you have an option to upload & send a copy of your residential proof to google adsense team. After doing this they will verify your address proof within 24 hours & remove the hold from your account.
Step 7 – Cross Payment threshold of 100 USD – In order to get payment from google adsense your earnings should be more than $ 100 USD . Your earnings will be finalized between 10th to 15 of the next month & your finalized earnings will be send to you after 21st of the month.
Step 8 – Payment Receiving in your Bank account – Once adsense team will sent a payment , they will confirm you via a email saying that “ Good news” we had recently send you a payment for your earnings. Now please don’t be in hurry , it will still take few days to reach the payment in to your account , depending upon the mode of payment , if they had transferred via – international wire transfer it will take up to 1 to 10 days to reflect in your account. Now its time to be happy & celebrate .
